Privacy Policy — ניקוד לילדים (The Letter Journey)

Last updated: 16 July 2026

ניקוד לילדים (“the app”) is an educational app that helps young children learn the Hebrew alphabet and vowel signs (niqqud). It is developed and published by Guy Ben Moshe (“we”, “us”).

This app is designed for children. We have built it so that it collects no personal information whatsoever — not from children, and not from adults.

The short version

What the app stores on your device

The app saves two small preferences on your device only, using the standard iOS preferences system. This information never leaves your device, and we never see it:

What Why
Your chosen interface language (Hebrew, English, or Russian) So the app opens in the same language next time.
Whether the one-time “unlock everything” purchase has been made So paid content stays unlocked without asking the App Store on every launch.

Deleting the app removes both.

In-app purchase

The app offers a single, optional, one-time purchase that unlocks the full content. There is no subscription and no recurring charge.

Purchases are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see, receive, or store your name, payment card, billing address, or Apple Account details. Apple’s handling of that transaction is governed by Apple’s own privacy policy.

In line with Apple’s rules for children’s apps, the purchase screen is placed behind a parental gate that requires an adult to answer a question before any payment can begin.

Children’s privacy

This app is intended for young children. It collects no data at all, so there is no personal information of a child for us to use, share, sell, or disclose — to anyone, for any purpose.

The app contains no behavioural advertising, no contextual advertising, no analytics SDKs, and no third-party code that could collect information.

The only way to leave the app is an optional contact-email link on the About screen, which sits behind a parental gate so that a child cannot open it unaided.

Data we receive from Apple

If you choose to contact us by email, we will see your email address and whatever you write to us — simply because you sent it. We use it only to reply to you, and we do not add it to any mailing list.

Apple may provide us with aggregate, anonymous statistics about downloads and crashes. This information is not linked to any individual and cannot identify you or your child.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at this address and the “last updated” date above will change. Because the app collects no data, we do not expect material changes.
