Rock Paper Scissors (“the app”) is a game for iPhone, developed and published by Guy Ben Moshe (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what information the app uses, what it does not, and the choices you have.
The app is free and supported by a single banner ad served by Google AdMob. To show ads — and, if you allow it, ads that are more relevant to you — Google’s ad technology may collect and process certain information, which can include:
This processing is carried out by Google, not by us, and is governed by Google’s own policies. See Google’s How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Your controls. On first launch the app presents:
If you decline tracking, the app instructs Google to serve non-personalised ads and not to use the advertising identifier to track you. You can change this any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking, and reset your advertising identifier in the same area.
The app sells optional, one-time cosmetic hand skins (non-consumable purchases). These transactions are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see or store your name, payment card, billing address, or Apple Account details. Apple’s handling of the transaction is governed by Apple’s privacy policy.
When you invite a friend, the match — your throws and your chosen hand skin — is shared between the two devices using Apple’s iCloud (CloudKit) under your own iCloud account. This data flows through Apple’s infrastructure, not ours: we do not operate a server for it and we never receive or store it. Apple’s handling of iCloud data is governed by Apple’s privacy policy. If you never use “Vs. Friend”, no match data is shared.
The app saves a few small preferences on your device only, using the standard iOS preferences system. This information does not leave your device except as described above, and we do not receive it:
| What | Why |
|---|---|
| Your equipped hand skin | So your chosen look persists between launches. |
| Which premium skins you own | Restored from your App Store purchase history. |
| Your sound on/off preference | So the app remembers whether music is muted. |
| Your ad-consent choices | Managed by Google’s consent SDK, so you aren’t asked repeatedly. |
Deleting the app removes these on-device preferences.
The app is a general-audience game and is not directed at children under 13. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the app shows advertising, we do not recommend it for young children without a parent’s supervision.
If you contact us by email, we will see your email address and whatever you write, solely to reply. We do not add it to any mailing list.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data, or to object to certain processing. Because we do not ourselves collect or store personal data, most such requests concerning advertising data are directed to Google; concerning purchases and iCloud, to Apple. You can also contact us and we will help where we can.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address and the “last updated” date above will change.
